The research for the Future of Patient Data project has now been completed and the final report is being prepared for publication in April. Eight events in the final quarter of 2017 brought together leading experts across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia to identify the key shifts taking place around how patient data is being generated, used, owned and accessed. Some of the interim insights were shared in November. In January we added in perspectives from experts in four more locations in Toronto, Boston, San Francisco and Frankfurt. We now have a unique global view not only of the key changes on the horizon but also of regional variations in impact and implications. This is the summary insights presentation.

The forthcoming report will detail shared challenges such as data integration, ownership security and trust and future opportunities around the use of AI, data marketplaces, personalisation and new models for health data. In addition, looking further ahead it explores some of the emerging issues including data sovereignty, digital inequality, the privatization of health information and the value of health data.

Alongside the publication of the global report and a number of in-company briefings on the implications, we are very pleased to announce the first five public talks where we will be sharing the insights and discussing associated future opportunities. As with the insight generating workshops themselves, the first of these is taking place in Dubai followed by several across Europe. Key dates and locations are:
